The library offers a wide variety of booklists to students by age, grade, awards, read-a-likes, etc. (Also, see “Books” tab). With two weeks notice, the library will develop information pathfinders on topics that are part of the school curriculum.

Classroom Sets
WNPL Youth Services staff will pull sets of up to 15 books on specified subjects/areas for preschool and grade school teachers who have a WNPL Library Card, or teach at schools within WNPL District boundaries. A complete list of schools can be found at the bottom of this page. Teachers should use their personal or school library card. Standard WNPL policies regarding number of items, circulation periods, service fees, etc. will apply. We pull books based on shelf availability at the time of the request. Please remember that certain topics are seasonal and may have limited resources at certain times of the year.

Computers
The library has over 30 computers to offer students. This also includes three filtered computers exclusively reserved for children through eighth grade. Computers have access to the internet and Microsoft Office 2007 products. Anyone using the computers must have a library card in good standing.

Online Databases
The library has several online resources that can help your students. While all are available at the library, most databases can be used off-site (school, home, etc.) with their WNPL library card.
