Hello,

Our Caribbean Foot Jewelry & Fun Flip Flops Teen Craft is on Saturday, July 17th from 1-3pm. You can register by calling (847)244-5150 and then press 7 for the Programming Dept.
I am trying to register my daughter for preschool story time in the fall….can you send me the link?
Since storytimes started last week, you’ll need to call the Programming Office at 847-244-5150 then press #7 or stop in the library and visit the Programming Office in the Youth Services Area and we’ll be happy to get your daughter signed up.
Are there any reading programs in December?
There are no storytimes in December. Storytimes begin again on January 31 and they will all be drop in. Please see above for details.
Will you have book buddies again this year? My 7th grade daughter enjoyed it last year and was wondering if you were going to do it again this year. If so when should we come in to register?
Thanks!
Unfortunately due to our space constraints with our on-going construction project we are not able to offer the Book Buddies program this summer. We’re planning on restarting the program in summer 2012. Thanks for your interest.
Are there any programs for toddlers between 1 and 2 years old?
Currently we have no specific programs for this age group. We do have drop in storytimes which are open to all ages. They are Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7 and Saturday morning at 10. There is also one on Monday mornings at 11. These will continue for the next four weeks and parents/caregives must remain with the child. Thank you for your interest.
Can you order more Max and Ruby books by Rosemary Wells? My daughter loves these books and you don’t carry many in this series.
We will pass your suggestion along to the selector. Thank you!
Have you ever thought about having a committee of kids suggest/create ideas for programs for kids to participate in? It seems there are many things for preschool-2nd grade and 6-12 but not much for 3rd-5th grade. We love the programs going on now and would love to see more for that age group. Thanks for all that you do!
Thank you for your suggestion! We are working on providing more programming for 3rd – 5th grade. We will be having a book discussion for 4th and 5th graders this summer. Check out our next newsletter!
When is the next storytime registration?
Summer storytimes start in mid-June and are all drop-in. They do not require registration. Look for our newsletter coming out at the end of May!
