Cinderella Smith, by Stephanie Barden
My name is Teresa Louise Smith, but everyone calls me Cinderella. Why, you ask? Because I always seem to be losing one of my shoes. I even write my name and address on the bottom of all of my shoes so it’s easy to return lost shoes to me. I love to tap dance and my mom just bought me a pair of spectacular, ruby-red tap shoes. I can’t believe I lost one after the first dance class! I don’t have a lot of time to hunt for the lost shoe since I am helping my new friend, Erin, determine whether or not her soon-to-be stepsisters are wicked or not. What do you think? Will I find my tap shoe before the big dance recital? Who’s wicked and who’s nice?
